Tauranga’s Christmas in the Park
Christmas in the park Tauranga is a community-focused event that raises money or food donations for local charities by collecting donations at entry.
In return for their generous donation, people are rewarded with a package of entertainment of live musical performances by local bands, free children’s games and activities, food and drink options and, of course, a visit from Santa.
The event will be held at Soper Reserve in Mount Maunganui Tauranga and run from 10 am- 4 pm.
A NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
The biggest free Christmas party in Tauranga celebrates twenty years of celebrating the joys of Christmas and the history of Tauranga. People from all over Tauranga come to meet in the town of Bethlehem to enjoy live music and dance, Christmas carols and fireworks to embrace the festive season.
Bring your own picnics are encouraged, and there will also be food trucks around the event. Christmas characters will also roam the event, perfect for pictures with kids.

Tauranga Christmas parade
The Tauranga Christmas parade kicks off the Christmas season for the Tauranga community.
With articulate and eye-catching community floats, live music, Marching groups, acrobatic teams and a wide range of different characters, Santa and his helpers will be the main attractions.
This is the first year they are revealing a new Downtown Tauranga float. They aren’t giving away too much; more information on their website
